Meet the Team

Julia Cranford Julia is a native Arkansan, from the community of Promise Land near Hamburg, Arkansas.  She grew up on a farm where there were bird dogs, hound dogs, and yard dogs along with cows, horses, pigs, and chickens.  Her family did not take many vacations because someone always had to take care of the animals.  A week at the deer camp meant daily trips home to feed and water the livestock and pets.
Julia knows how important it is for you to have someone reliable to take care of your pets while you are vacationing or working long hours.

Julia now lives in Ridgeland, Mississippi, where she takes care of animals in other people's homes.  She and her husband, Dennis, moved to Ridgeland in 1994.  Dennis is the director of bands at St. Andrew's Episcopal School.

Julia has been pet sitting in the Jackson, MS, area since 2005.  She started the Priority Pets business in 2010.  She volunteers with the Community Animal Rescue and Adoption - CARA Shelter Community Council.  You will see her around town at CARA Adoptathon events.

The only kind of pet Julia doesn't like:   SNAKES!
